Lisa Flynn | Sarasota REIA

Lisa Flynn
Secretary/Treasurer

Lisa first entered the world of real estate while living in Massachusetts. Although she held a real estate license back then, she focused more “behind the scenes” building a title abstracting business.

That was the first of a number of successful businesses Lisa built over the years. She’s had a marketing and website development business and very successful dog training/boarding business.

“The truth is, I have never had a J.O.B. I understand a great deal about marketing, hard work, and I believe that building relationships is the foundation of success.

Lisa and her home inspector husband, Doug Smith, have a portfolio of small multi family and single family homes. They will occasionally flip or wholesale a deal. However, their focus is on buy and hold.

As an investor herself, Lisa understands the numbers and “thinks” differently than most other REALTORS. She is truly an investor-focused RE agent who is passionate about helping people build wealth through real estate investments.

Frank is involved in many REIA groups and in late 2007 was invited in to the exclusive Jack Miller group of investors where he learned the subtle art of real estate investing.

He formed many lasting friendships and gained knowledge from the finest real estate investors, instructors and mentors in the country who were around the table during those Miller sessions.

In late 2014 Frank took over the Miller Group meetings in Tampa and changed the name to the Tampa Bay Real Estate Investors Roundtable for seasoned and novice investors which he continues and expanded into the Bradenton market prior to COVID. Frank has recently joined the board of the Sarasota REIA and looks forward to continuing the good work set forth by previous board members. He currently moderates of the Sarasota REIA ZOOM meetings on the third Wednesday evening of every month.

Blair and Amy Milliken | Sarasota REIA

Blair Milliken
Co Vice-President

Blair Milliken started his education in real estate investing in 1998 working with Late Night infomercial Dave Deldato as his trainer. Shortly thereafter he purchased his first home with no money down. The plan was to flip that waterfront house. However his family still live in that house today in Englewood, FL.

He has literally “moved houses”, fixed and flipped, bought and held, leased-optioned, and has worked with the best local and national trainers. During the “Great Recession” Blair lost it all and now is building back on a solid base of flipping contracts, managing his portfolio and acquiring owner financed/subject-to properties.

When not playing in the real estate he is an active member of Rotary and an Assistant Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 26 in Englewood where his youngest son is working his way towards Eagle.
