Florida’s New Property Insurance Reform Law
presented by it’s lead lawmaker, Sen. Jim Boyd, R-Bradenton

Sen. Boyd is a fourth generation Floridian, a former 8-year State Representative serving Manatee County. Sen. Boyd is CEO of Boyd Insurance and Investment Services, Bradenton. The Senator has a long history of public service, he was first elected to the Palmetto City Council in 1989 and went on to serve as the city’s mayor and vice-mayor. He also served as fire commissioner for the North River Fire District and as a volunteer firefighter/EMT.
