Our special guest this month Tom Knight. Former Sheriff Tom Knight was elected to the Sarasota County Commission in November of 20 24. He is an experienced, conservative leader who believes in limited taxation and spending as well as individual rights. He is a champion of government transparency and the representation of average, tax-paying citizens over special interests.

Well, here we go again. As you are aware, our area took a direct hit from Hurricane Milton. We hope that you and yours are safe and sound and that you didn’t suffer too much damage from this storm.
We have decided to postpone the “Third Wednesday” lunch meeting to October 30th. We will still meet at Der Dutchman at 11:30 for networking, meeting at noon.

Karen Rushing, Sarasota County’s Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller won her first election in 1987 and has been re-elected nine times. Her years of experience include court, financial, and investment management.
