David Tilney has spent more than 40+ years learning property management from the most knowledgeable managers he could find and from the ‘school of hard knocks.’
“In my quest to be the best manager I could be, I have implemented, revised, tested and modified other people’s ideas, and created new material as necessary. I have changed systems and procedures as the laws and times have dictated.
My management philosophy has always been to treat our tenants the way they would like to be treated, while maintaining strong controls to assure maximum profitability with a minimum of hassles. My wife, Mary, and I continue to manage our own rental portfolio, as well as ‘master lease’ single-family homes of other owners and investors. We collect all rents (utilizing ACH software) prior to the first of each month and we have experienced only one eviction back in 1981. Most of our tenants rent from us for multiple years and we have had two couples who rented from us for 25 and 18 years respectively.”

From Mailman to Millionaire
Everybody loves a good rags-to-riches story, right? As a mailman Tom Nardone looked at houses all day. He would see run-down, neglected homes, vacant houses, homeowners facing foreclosure, FSBOs, etc. So, he started offering the owners to buy their houses. And it worked like gangbusters! Tom quit his blue-collar mailman job and went full time into flipping houses, rehabbing and renting the properties he owned.
Tom has personally purchased and sold hundreds of properties worth over 25 million dollars which includes fix-n-flips, foreclosures and REO’s, multi-family, and short sales. Tom is an educator, author (“Secrets of the Real Estate Millionaires”) and inspiration to countless real estate investors.

Anthony Green started Evictions Plus in 1991 as the first non-attorney eviction service in the State of Florida. For the past 32 years his company has assisted landlords in performing over 22,000 evictions. As an additional service, they perform background checks on prospective tenants and skip-tracing on people who disappear while owing landlords money.
